Rep Joe Wilson pretty much summed it up for Obama's speech tonight. Those folks in the Carolinas tend to tell it how it is. After Obama made the statement that health care reform wouldn't cover illegal aliens, Wilson shouted "You Lie!" Way to go Joe!

The fact is, the House Bill forbids illegal aliens from benefiting from government run health insurance, but does not offer a mechanism to enforce it! Furthermore, socialists have rejected Rep Heller attempts to force hospitals to verify citizenship before offering care. So, they say they aren't going to cover illegal aliens, but then don't provide any way of preventing it. This sounds a bit like "Don't ask don't tell" of health insurance.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that my congressional representative decided to hold “telephone” townhall meetings instead of meeting her constituents face to face. I can only imagine this was done to avoid the controversial videos that have been all the rage in the media the past few weeks. Your website leads me to believe that you are against the current house legislation, yet your FAQ indicates that you aren’t completely educated the implications of the house bill. With all due respect, Sarah Palin was not talking about this when she coined that phrase. She was referring to the panel that would inevitably write the rules on what kind of procedures would be covered and who would receive them.
